The body remembers what the world tries to erase.

In a world that asks us to brace and endure, this work is a returning—to the body as a site of care, memory, and truth. We move with tenderness, listen for what has been waiting, and remember the soft power that has always lived within us.

“My body is not wrong.”

June Jordan

Healing must meet the body where it is—and see the systems that shape it.

After years in wellness spaces, I realized that most practices ignore the realities of systemic oppression, and that leaves marginalized bodies behind—or worse, retraumatized. Big emotional breakthroughs are celebrated as healing, while nervous systems go unacknowledged, and cheap or performative wellness confuses aesthetics for transformation.

Healing is not a destination you can buy; it’s a flexible, resilient nervous system that can return to balance after stress. This work was created to center Black and brown bodies, honor lived experience, and offer practices that cultivate capacity, steadiness, and soft power—because true healing is integration, not performance.

Welcome. I’m Kiesha, here to guide you back to your body and its wisdom.

My mission is simple: to bring us back to our practices, our ways, and our bodies’ inherent intelligence, through somatic work grounded in love, psychology, and ancestral wisdom.

I am a teacher, coach, and guide with a deep love for holding space and listening to the body. A biracial Black woman, parent, military spouse, and stroke survivor, I bring first-hand experience of racialized and religious trauma, and the ways the body carries what the mind cannot.

After seven years in the wellness industry, I saw how Black and brown bodies were too often left out of the spaces meant to heal them — practices taken from marginalized communities were commodified, while those communities were excluded. In 2020, I created Green & Well: “Wellness for the Rest of Us”, offering breathwork classes rooted in accessibility and care.

I then trained as an ICF-accredited coach and studied both somatic psychology and politicized embodied somatic practice with teachers like Peter Levine, Richard Strozzi-Heckler, and Staci Haines. I also served as Head of Breathwork and Somatic Programs for Lindywell, bringing inclusion, accessibility, and my expertise to international communities.

My work centers the intelligence of the body, the wisdom of ancestral practices, and the power of compassionate witnessing. I am passionate about supporting marginalized bodies, helping people reconnect with their nervous systems, and cultivating steadiness, choice, and soft power in the body.

Our Methodology

A sanctuary for your body, your nervous system, and your truth.

Body-First

We begin with the body, not the mind. Every practice, reflection, and workshop meets the nervous system where it is, honoring its rhythms, signals, and limits before any change is asked.

Agency Over Authority

You are the expert of your own body. Guidance comes through invitation and witnessing, not hierarchy or “fixing.” Choice is central—your pace, your readiness, your wisdom.

Anti-Oppressive by Design

Wellness is not neutral. Our work explicitly centers Black and brown bodies, acknowledges systemic oppression, and creates space where marginalized experiences are seen, valued, and held with care.

Slow, Sustained, and Sustainable

Healing is integration, not a high. We move slowly, repeatedly, and gently—building capacity, steadiness, and soft power that lasts beyond any single session.
